Controls:

  • W / Space - Boost forwards
  • A - Rotate left
  • D - Rotate right

Objective:

  • Navigate your ship from the blue landing pad to the green landing pad without colliding with the world around you.

Result of finishing first section of the GameDev TV Godot 3D course. Created 5 more levels to round out the project, and exported as a web GL build to be able to play online.

The first time you try to move upwards, crash, and/or land on the green landing pad, the game will stutter for a few seconds as it loads in the particle effects. At least I'm assuming that's what's happening. Once you've done it for the first time though, the rest of the game goes smoothly. Not sure why that's the case, tested exporting the game through both the Forward+ and Compatibility renders, and both had that issue. Guessing that just a limitation of running it on the web.
